Making good on a Super Bowl bet
Airports with teams facing off in the Super Bowl often make good-natured bets with each other. And this year the wager between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) was that the CEO of the airport with the losing home team would wear the jersey of the winning team’s quarterback jersey for the day.
Looks like the CVG CEO kept her side of the bet.
Airports showed the love for Valentine’s Day
We knew some of the sweet treats airports were planning for Valentine’s Day. But our romance reporter spotted some bonus surprises.
Last Friday, Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) handed out carnations and handmade felt hearts to passengers to kick off Valentine’s Weekend. But PHL’s short shorty dispenser will also be offering up free romantic short stories all week.
Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and its PIT PAWS teams threw a fun Valentine’s Day party.
The SFO Museum found a vintage Valentine’s Day menu
The team at the SFO Museum at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) did some digging and found this Valentine’s Day menu served on a United Airlines flight in 1963.
And DFW shared some (corny) Valentines
