In preparation for the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show, which will be held in Las Vegas January 6-9, McCarran International Airport partnered up with Samsung Electronics America to install a giant 100-screen video wall in the airport's D Concourse. There are also smaller, 10-screen displays on the A, B and C Concourses.
If you end up getting stuck at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport or Denver International Airport during the busy holiday travel season, go hang out in the lobby. Courtyard by Marriott has set up Lobby Zones at each airport complete with comfy seating and complimentary charging outlets.  Atlanta’s Lobby Zone will be open until December 31;
Schiphol Airport is introducing free Wi-Fi (for one hour) and holiday entertainment that includes an ice queen, flashmobs, wish-granting fairies, gift-giving Santas, a giant reindeer head lit with 16,200 LED Christmas lights and a miniature version of the Netherlands' famous elfstedentocht - the 11-city skating marathon in Friesland.
