Update: 1:15 pm: Organizers say the “Take Me Out the Ballgame” song contest at Boston Logan Airport has been rescheduled to Friday, April 17th from noon to 2 pm.

Tomorrow (Tues., April 7, 2009) from noon -2 pm, Red Sox Fans at Boston Logan Airport (BOS) will be belting out their versions of “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” in hopes of winning some great prizes.
The contest takes place at the newly opened Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill, located pre-security in Boston Logan’s Terminal C. Red Sox Nation President Jerry Remy will be on hand to deliver a “State of the Red Sox Nation” address and Wally the Green Monster will be on hand help pick contest winners.
And what can you win?
1st place: A Red Sox road game package, including airfare, hotel stay, and tickets to see the Red Sox vs. the Chicago White Sox in Chicago on Labor Day Weekend.
2nd place: You and guest will get to sit in the broadcast booth with Jerry Remy during a Red Sox home game.
3rd place: A $50 gift certificate to Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill.
If you don’t want to enter the singing contest, you can still score some prizes. Wally the Green Monster will pose for photos with fans and Red Sox memorabilia will be raffled off.
