Happy Souvenir Sunday! Each Sunday we feature a few great under $10 souvenirs discovered at an airport. Not just any souvenirs but, ideally, items that are unusual, somewhat unique and, at the very least, “of” that city or state. This week, I asked Ryan Hollingsworth over at Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) to do a little shopping.
Souvenir shopping is a great way to pass the time when you’re stuck at the airport. It’s especially rewarding if you can find things that are inexpensive and shops that feature items “of” that city or area. A good example: Matchbox cars that sell for under $10 at the NASCAR shop at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. 
Whether or not you actually buy anything, souvenir shopping is good way to spend some time when you’re stuck at the airport.
