While plans move forward to rename Nashville International Airport (BNA) in honor of Dolly Parton, the airport is joining worldwide celebrations for Dolly Day, on September 25.
Here’s what’s on the schedule, which runs from 9 to 5, of course.
Dolly Songs on the BNA Stage
BNA’s live music stage (C/D exit area near Green Beans Coffee Co.) will feature artists performing some of Dolly Parton’s most beloved songs.
Shine Bright Pink for Dolly
BNA parking garages will be illuminated in pink, adding a special glow to the Nashville skyline.
Dolly Social Media Tribute
BNA will celebrate Dolly across its social media channels with a special tribute highlighting her music, unmistakable style, Tennessee roots and the lasting impact she has made around the world.
Sing Like Dolly
In partnership with Southwest Airlines, passengers at Gate C2 will be invited to participate in Dolly-themed karaoke featuring some of her most iconic songs.
Dress in Your Dolly Best
Passengers traveling through BNA on Sept. 25 are encouraged to wear their favorite Dolly-inspired attire.
