But who doesn’t?
So we’re delighted to learn that along with tourist informaton, the new Visitor Center at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) features a postcard station where travelers can pick up complimentary postcards and have them mailed for free.
And we’re (already) declaring this the Airport Amenity of the Week.
With all the celebrations for the country’s 250th anniversary, this will be a big summer for Philadelphia and Pennsyvlania.
So the timing of the new airport visitor center is ideal.
Open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., the visitor center is located just steps away from PHL’s iconic Rocky statue and offers offers maps, attraction recommendations, transportation resources and information about experiences throughout Philadelphia and the Commonwealth.
The 1,000-square-foot Visitor Center also features a curated selection of souvenirs and gifts from across Pennsylvania, along with official Rocky merchandise through a partnership with Sylvester Stallone’s officially licensed brand, the Sly Stallone Shop.
While at PHL, see the art
PHL Airport is filled with permanent and temporary art exhibtions. So while you’re there, be sure to take a moment to look around.
For example, in Terminal A – East, there’s a new exhibition of work by a dozen clay artists doing residencies at the Clay Studio, a preeminent arts organization in Philadelphia.
In Terminal F, catch a whiff of summer with Cindy Lozito’s work, “Where Sky and Water Meet.“
And on Terminal A- West, take a moment to explore “Moonshot,” a set of assemblages by Philadelphia artist Arnab Gan Choudhury;
