Iconic soccer artifacts at Seattle’s MOPOP Museum

(FIFA World Cup participation medals; 1930)
Soccer fan or not, you can’t help but notice that everyone is a bit World Cup crazy right now.
Museums included.
In Seattle, one of the host cities, the Museum of Pop Cuture, MOPOP, has teamed up with Julien’s Auctions to present a special Icons of Soccer exhibit that includes more than 20 artifacts and spans more than 6 decades.
Included is Pelé’s 1962 FIFA World Cup Gold Winner’s Medal and his Brazilian passport from the early 1960s, Messi’s signed Argentina jersey, participation medals from the 1930 FIFA World Cup and more.
The exhibit runs through July 6, 2026 and is included with museum admission.
Bonus: The Space Needle is right next to MOPOP and is currently running a BOGO offer (buy one; get one free) admission ticket offer for visits after 5 pm, Monday through Thursday. Use code SNBOGO.
General admission tickets run $35 to $55, so this is a great deal for two people.
