Back in April, American Airlines debuted a special sports-themed aircraft livery on a Boeing 737-800 to mark its role as Official North American Airline Supplier of the 2026 FIFA World Cup 26 in partnership with Qatar Airways.

The airline has also rolled out soccer-themed amenity kits packaged in clear containers that can be repurposed as stadium-legal bags.

Qatar and several other airlines have also unveiled planes with special World Cup livery.

And now, Alaska Airlines joins in with a new World Cup aircraft livery of its own.

Alaska Airlines is as an Official Seattle World Cup 2026 Host City Supporter in parthership with Qatar Airlines.
This Boeing 737-9 MAX (tail number 985AK) now features the Seattle Host City logo alongside a soccer ball in motion.

The underside of the aircraft features the slogan “WE ARE SEATTLE,” as a statement of Alaska’s pride in its hometown.
