Pianos at airports

Piano at Heathrow Term 4

I spotted this piano – and this young boy – in Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport last week and got a kick out of the fact that his outfit matched the piano and that he wasn’t too shy to sit and play.

Pianos seem to be getting more popular at airports. Most seem to be attached to bars and few are as inviting as this one that says “Play Me.”

Spotted a piano in an airport? (Played it?) Let’s make a list….

I have the pleasure & honor of playing the piano at CLT Airport in the Atrium near the food court, by the First in Flight Bar, in front of the rockers & below the USO. I LOVE IT! It’s always great to hear the compliments of our volunteer piano program. If you’re traveling through, come & visit me!

Huntsville International Airport (HSV) has one in public waiting. We love it when someone plays a tune!

Charlotte has one in the atrium that is quite nice to listen to
