Denver International Airport (DIA) is hosting a temporary bicycle-themed art exhibition through the end of August celebrating the third USA Pro Challenge race in Colorado, which takes August 19-25.
Bikes that have been turned into works of art by up-and-coming local artists are displayed on top of the baggage carousels on the east and west sides of the Jeppesen Terminal (Level 5) and each bicycle represents one of the cities the USA Pro Challenge will visit during the seven day tour: Aspen/Snowmass, Breckenridge, Steamboat Springs, Beaver Creek, Vail, Loveland, Fort Collins and Denver.
At the end of the exhibit, the bicycles will be auctioned to benefit local charities. Here are some examples:
