Pillows for passengers – free for a cause

To draw attention to their contract negotiations, to protest “chaotic air travel for passengers” and highlight what they feel are poor working conditions, American Airlines flight attendants will be handing out travel pillows today – Friday Oct 10th – at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, New York’s LaGuardia Airport and at airports in Miami and Los Angeles.

According to the Association of Professional Flight Attendants:

During Friday’s event, called “PAX for PAX” – PAX meaning both the Latin word for ‘peace’ and an airline abbreviation for ‘passengers’ – Flight Attendants will hand out informational flyers and travel pillows imprinted with the website promoting the ‘Peace for Passengers’ campaign.

Find out more about the campaign – and the issues – here – and grab a pillow if you can.
