Several airports celebebrated last week’s Airport Concessions Day (it’s a thing…) by sharing news of new concessions and expansion projects planned for their terminals.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), claims that it’s “America’s Tastiest Airport” and already has more than 100 concessions. The airport has some new local dining concepts set to begin opening in Terminal 4 starting in late 2026 through the end of 2027.
The list includes:
Cactus & Cow Burger Bar, created by Arizona chef Mark Tarbell, will serve fresh burgers and classic comfort dishes;
Greenwood Brewing, an award-winning and woman-owned brewery in downtown Phoenix, will offer craft beer inspired by Arizona’s culture, along with cocktails, wine and a menu that reflects the flavors of Arizona;
Ingo’s Tasty Food, a Phoenix favorite from the Arcadia neighborhood, will feature scratch-made comfort meals with locally sourced ingredients, plus coffee and cocktail options;
The Farm at South Mountain will introduce four concepts in one space. The Farm Kitchen will serve lunch. Morning Glory Café will offer breakfast. The Coffee Bar will serve coffee, pastries, and snacks. The Bar at PHX will offer cocktails, local beer, wine and light bites.
Also: Collins Small Batch Kitchen, featuring chef‑inspired recipes prepared in small batches; The Macintosh, serving modern comfort food with Southwest influences; and The Mexicano by Chef Joey, which will showcase bold Mexican flavors.

New at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport
Sprawling Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), which has more than 200 concessions, reminds us that this year alone more than a dozen new dining, shopping and customer amenities have opened across DFW.
Among the newest additions are local favorites like Brewed, Deep Ellum Brewing, Art-K-Texture and Lone Chimney Mercantile.
Nashville International Airport (BNA)
Nashville International Airport (BNA) is working on an $855 million Concourse A expansion, slated to open in 2028.
Some of the new concessions to look foward to include:
Chief’s: Country music star Eric Church’s iconic Broadway destination will be reimagined as a full-service airport restaurant, bringing the energy, personality and hospitality of one of Nashville’s most recognizable entertainment venues to BNA.
Hawkers: The Florida-based Asian street food restaurant will expand its Nashville presence, offering travelers a vibrant menu inspired by the flavors and dishes of Asia.
Burger Republic: A Nashville favorite known for gourmet burgers, creative menu offerings and local craft beer will bring its approachable, distinctly local experience to Concourse A.
Nashville Remix: More than a traditional travel essentials store, Nashville Remix will combine convenient travel necessities with a bottle shop, tasting bar and photo opportunity, giving passengers another chance to take a piece of Nashville with them.
Greatest Hits: A music-inspired apparel and gift shop, Greatest Hits will celebrate Nashville’s deep musical roots through merchandise and memorable gifts. The concept will serve as a sister store to Nashville Jam Session at T-Gates, extending BNA’s commitment to telling the story of Music City through its retail program.
