This lakefront hotel has a Boeing factory view

When we checked into our room at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport, we thought the corner room view of two Boeing 737 airplanes looked pretty cool.

The hotel has a new “Hangar Hideaway” package for aviation fans that includes a guestroom that overlooks Lake Washington and new plane production at the Renton Boeing Factory, admission for up to four people to Seattle’s Museum of Flight (11 miles away) and a take-home souvenir which we haven’t seen yet, but have been assured is also aviation-themed.

We left our room to indulge in the drinks and s’mores that are included in the hotel’s daily resort fee and returned to an even better nighttime view of the planes.

We’ll come back to update this post when we find out exactly what the take-home souvenir includes and which room numbers to request to insure a view of the activity at Boeing’s Renton factory, but we wanted to share these views right away.
