On February 13, Nashville International Airport (BNA) will celebrate 80 years of of the comic strip “Nancy” with a new exhibit called Nancy Loves Nashville.

The exhibit will feature 62 Nancy illustrations created by Nashville, Tenn., resident Guy Gilchrist, a singer-songwriter, author and artist who took over the classic newspaper comic strip in 1995.

While most of the illustrations are from the artist’s own collection, twenty of them will be from the collection of the Country Music Hall of Fame – and those will most likely be the ones in which Gilchrist has worked in the name of some of his favorite country music stars.
