Now that summer travel is coming to a close, it’s time to start planning future adventures.
And this week both United Airlines and American Airlines announced 2027 additions to their service that seriously expand the options of where go.
First, United.
Starting as early as March 2027, United Airlines will fly to 10 new international cities – including eight no other U.S. airline serves – across Europe and Asia.

Not to be outdone, American Airlines announced service on seven new international routes and three new destinations for 2027.
