TSA PreCheck discounts + How airports marked May the 4th.

$20 discount for TSA PreCheck sign-ups. If you’re 30 and under.

Thinking about signing up for TSA PreCheck? Now may be a good time.

TSA is offering a $20 discount for TSA PreCheck applicants age 30 and under who fill out their paperwork by May 31, 2026.

Several providers, including IDEMIA, CLEAR, or Telosare, are authorized to offer TSA PreCheck enrollment. So with your discount the first five-year membership will now range from $56.75 to $65. (Renewals will be lower).

The application starts online and is then completed in person at locations that might airports, but also in-town locations such as Staples/Office Depot and AAA offices.

If approved you’ll get your Known Traveler Number for booking flights and getting TSA PreCheck on your boarding pass in approximately three to five days.

Given the long checkpoint security lines we saw at airports during the recent partial government shutdown and the busy summer travel season ahead, it’s a good idea to get TSA PreCheck now.

Then you can use that $20 savings to buy yourself a treat at the airport.

How did airports celebrate May the 4th?
