Fresh bicycle-themed art at Denver Int’l Airport

The newest art exhibit at Denver International Airport has a transportation theme.

Not planes – although the photo above does use a plane as a backdrop – but bicycles.

Tod Van Fleet loves vintage bicycles – and the outdoors – and puts them together in large-scale colorful landscape photos on display at DEN airport in the ‘Y-Juncture Gallery’ past the A-security checkpoint through September 2017.

The photographs on display were taken in some of Colorado’s loveliest spots, including Aspen, Vail, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Garden of the Gods, Kenosha Pass and Gore Range and, evidently, Van Fleet sometimes hikes to remote spots with the bikes strapped to his back in order to get  just the right shots.
