I had the great privilege of spending a full day going on curator-led tours through the five (yes- five!) museums that make up the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming.
In addition to seeing artifacts and ephemera relating to Annie Oakley, Buffalo Bill (a.k.a. William F. Cody) and, of all people, Amelia Earhart (more on that another day… ), I did a little Souvenir Sunday shopping in the center’s huge gift shop.
I usually look for those fun, inexpensive and locally-themed items in airport gift shops, but I found all I needed here – including some excellent additions to the ongoing collection of chocolate ‘poop’ souvenirs.
