Technically, it is a shop selling gift boxes of Japanese confections. But the Nippon Origami Museum in Terminal 1 at Tokyo’s Narita Airport devotes most of its space displays of creative, offbeat and surprising examples of origami.

The Origami Museum shop is just down the hall from Narita’s Kabuki Gate, which features mannequins dressed in Kabuki costumes, music and craft items associated with Kabuki performances and an interactive media station where you can email an image of your face in a Kabuki mask.
