Happy Souvenir Sunday: Treats from Prague Airport
During my tour of Prague Airport last week, I visited the airport museum, the outdoor observation deck, and of course, all the stores. And I found quite a few items that were just perfect for Souvenir Sunday, the day when we feature fun, under $10 souvenirs you can buy at the airport.
I was hoping I’d find some of these cute marzipan treats that I saw all over town.
But no luck.
However, Krtek, a mole-like cartoon character that everyone seems to love was all over the airport.
In one airport store chock-full of Czech foods and liquors, I found traditional wafers.
And of course – Czech-made beer.
All these items were fun, somewhat offbeat, under $10, and therefore perfect for Souvenir Sunday! So I bought them all.
Have you found a great under $10 item for sale at the airport? If you do, please take a picture of it and send it along. We may feature it on a future edition of Souvenir Sunday.
