Observation area set to open July 16th at Vancouver Int’l Airport
Posted on July 8th, 2009 by Harriet Baskas
Next Thursday, July 16, 2009, a new public observation area will open at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) on level 4 of the Domestic Terminal.
The new pre-security viewing area will have floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on the airfield and out to the Strait of Georgia, free telescopes, interactive kiosks, panels describing airport activities, a user-controlled simulator flight over British Columbia, and a model of Sea Island, where the airport makes its home.
