It had to be re-scheduled due to the Red Sox opening-day rain-out, but this Friday, April 17^th, beginning at noon, folks will be singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at Boston Logan International Airport in hopes of winning big prizes.

The competition is part of the opening celebration for Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar and Grill in Logan’s Terminal C.   Remy, the well-known Red Sox Nation President and Boston Red Sox sports announcer, will be joined by Wally the Green Monster (the Boston Red Sox mascot) and assorted other celebrities who will help choose the winners of the song contest.

1^st prize: a Red Sox road game package, with airfare and hotel  accommodations, to the Red Sox vs. the Chicago White Sox game in Chicago on Labor Day Weekend.

2^nd prize: A chance to bring a guest and sit in the broadcast booth alongside Jerry Remy during a Red Sox home game.

3^rd prize: A $50 gift certificate to Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill.
